Hyperion 2005
EMEA partner awards - the winners were recognized for their
ability to bring value to customers and their outstanding
achievements in extending the power of Business Performance
Management. The forum, part of the Solutions 2005 Hyperion
International Conference in Barcelona, drew more than 200
attendees who focused on best practices in deploying and
managing solutions to improve business performance.
Six companies were recognized for excellence in the
development and delivery of Business Performance Management
and Business Intelligence solutions using Hyperion
technology.

Hyperion System 9 achieves "Certified for SAP NetWeaver®"
integration status. This certification allows customers to
take full advantage of the benefits of Hyperion System 9, a
comprehensive performance management solution that
integrates financial management applications with a BI
platform into a modular system that will adapt to any
business need.

Hyperion System 9 BI+, the business intelligence component
of Hyperion System 9, has been certified for integration
with the OLAP BAPI interface as part of SAP NetWeaver
Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI), which includes
SAP® Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW). This
certification helps ensure that customers using the mySAPT
Business Suite family of business applications and the SAP
NetWeaver platform can further leverage Hyperion System 9 to
extend the value of their SAP solutions.
Hyperion System 9 is the result of a three-year initiative
to dramatically transform and simplify the way users
interact with BI and performance management software. This
transformation has been accomplished through technical
innovations within the Hyperion System 9 Foundation Services
layer and the development of Hyperion System 9 Workspace,
the first personalized workspace for Business Performance
Management. These capabilities can be extended through the
SAP Enterprise Portal to tens of thousands of users,
delivering enterprise reporting and advanced analytic
capabilities throughout an organization.

Hyperion placed in the Leaders Quadrant in the firm's Magic
Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Suites,
published 4 November 2005.
Hyperion was evaluated on "completeness of vision" and its
"ability to execute" in CPM suites. According to Gartner,
Leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of
market direction and are actively building competencies to
sustain their leadership position in the market.
