Business Performance
Management Conference
Hyperion will play a prominent role in the first industry
conference exclusively focused on the emerging category of
Business Performance Management, the IntelligentBPM
Conference and Expo in San Francisco. The event, scheduled
to take place Sept 28 - 30, will include presentations by
Hyperion President and COO Godfrey Sullivan and
Hyperion Vice President of Product Marketing Rich
Clayton.
Sullivan, speaking on Tuesday, September 30, will discuss
creating a performance management infrastructure to support
the demands for greater oversight, accountability,
regulatory compliance and profitability.
"There's been a groundswell of interest in Business
Performance Management in the past 18 months," said
Sullivan. "Companies all over the world are concerned about
new regulatory requirements such as IAS2005 and Sarbanes
Oxley, about driving accountability across their
organizations, about achieving higher levels of performance
despite a challenging economic environment. Business
Performance Management is the right idea for these companies
and this is the right time for this conference."
"Our keynote panel brings together the COOs from industry
leaders such as Hyperion, one of the first software
companies to set the Business Performance Management agenda
in motion," said Mark Smith, conference co-chair, CEO and
senior vice president of research at Ventana Research. "This
will be a session that sets the tone for the conference and
for the industry for the next year."
Rich Clayton will discuss "The Case for BPM -- Building the
Performance Accountable Organization." Clayton's session,
scheduled for Monday, September 29, will address the
barriers to continuous performance improvements and how to
close the gap between strategy and execution for improved
insight and performance. Attendees will learn about the key
technologies and management processes that make up Business
Performance Management, and how to measure performance in
concrete terms.
The conference, which runs Sunday, September 28, through
Tuesday, September 30, will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in
San Francisco, California.
